As everyone knows wedding season has officially started! It is going to be one busy season for this photographer. I currently have 5 weddings on the books ranging from June until October! If I had to choose between what I love to photograph the most there would definitely be a tie between newborns and weddings. Everyone knows my love for squishy newborns but the love and compassion that weddings bring is a feeling like no other!
Im a cry baby so do not be offended if you see me shedding tear during your ceremony or during your first dance! I get emotionally attached to my brides and grooms whether Ive known you for years or only for 3 months! Its very important to me to get a real connection with my brides and grooms. My main reason is I am going to be with you all day during your wedding day so its very important to me that we mesh well and that you feel completely comfortable with me because as I always joke “I will most likely be all up in your personal bubble all day!” lol So feeling comfortable and friendly with me is SOOO very important! Also I love my job I am not only your photographer but your personal assistant, your you have a hair out of place, or you have lipstick on your teeth, you most likely will have a bridal party there to help out with all of those things but its important to me for you to know that I am here for you as well!
Stress shows in photographs so it is also my job to keep you calm cool and collective! This is your BIG day and you need not stress! So if it means sharing a few jokes with you to ease up the tension, I always have a joke or witty comment on hand so please if your starting to feel the pressure, please let me know! 🙂
Now to move onto the feature of this Blog post! Please Congratulate the new Mr. & Mrs. Fields and handsome little Brennan as well as the little one cooking in mama’s belly (this gorgeous mama is expecting, doesn’t she look stunning!)
I met Tacora back in 2010. We actually went through Navy Boot Camp together! So when she contacted me to photograph her wedding I was ecstatic! She has grown into a beautiful, strong, woman, mother and wife and I am so proud to know her and be able to capture these memories for her!
John and Tacora are both active duty Navy! They had their ceremony at The Magnolia House Inn in Hampton, VA on March 21, 2015. They had a small intimate ceremony with close friends and family! The owners of the Magnolia House were absolutely wonderful and accommodating! If you are looking for a beautiful venue for a small intimate ceremony I would absolutely suggest checking them out!
The weather ended up be absolutely gorgeous. I don’t think they could have chosen a better day to have their wedding!
I am so very happy for the three of you and your growing family! It was an honor and a pleasure to have the opportunity to photograph your wedding and I can not thank you enough for sharing your big day with me! The love this couple shares is like no other, you can just tell by the way that they look at one another how in love they truly are! I wish you all the best! Congratulations again!
